Price Performing Arts
Center

was founded January 10, 1994 by Andrea
Price Covington. With the
enrollment of only 12 students, Andrea
pursued her dream of providing a quality
dance program to the Greater Atlanta
Arts Community and surrounding
areas. The Center was founded
based on the vision to provide a
comprehensive dance program to aspiring
dancers and help facilitate their
artistic development through the
provision of quality dance classes,
dance education, and
pre-professional/professional performance
opportunities.
Since the inception of
the program, Price Performing Arts
Center has influenced and enhanced the
lives of well over 1,000 dancers of all ages and currently maintains an active
enrollment roster of 250+ students. The Center has expanded its program by
offering an extensive dance curriculum through classes in ballet, tap, jazz,
modern, Pointe, hip-hop, African, lyrical, and tumbling. In addition,
performance opportunities are available
through affiliated dance
companies: The Price
Performance Company and The Price Pre-Professional
Dance Company.
As Price Performing Arts Center
continues to provide its program and
services in the new Millennium, the
Center is dedicated to the enrichment
and advancement of the art of dance for
the Atlanta Arts Community and committed
to providing a premier program within
the Southeastern region.
